Fans of Japanese games that hardly make it to the West are used to taking a look at XSEED Games' plans, as this American company pick and localise niche titles such as minor JRPGs for consoles, and they have now announced their lineup for the E3 2017, with five titles being showcased.

Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash for PlayStation 4 (Release: Summer 2017) will be introduced by Kenichiro Takaki, producer of the series, and he will be on stage for the very first time in America on June 15 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. PT [21:00 to 23:00 BST], and there will be merchandise on sale.

The following titles, both for Nintendo Switch, aren't as new, as these are Shantae: Half-Genie Hero (Release: Summer 2017) and Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star (Release: July 25, 2017), from Marvelous Inc.

There are two more games in the line-up, and these are side-scrolling action platformer Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, developed by Edelweiss for PlayStation 4 and Windows PC (Release: 2018), and classic action-RPG Zwei: The Ilvard Insurrection from Nihon Falcom for Windows PC (Release: Summer 2017).

Which of these games stands out?
