We know a lot of you aren't too fond of the prequel films in the Star Wars universe, but they did have many major battles though, one of which was the Assault on Theed. This battle will be what EA and Dice use when they introduce the Episode I content of Star Wars Battlefront II at E3. It won't exactly be as we remember it, however, since they've added quite a few twists we don't remember, like the involvement of Rey and the Clone Troopers. Here is how they describe it:
"Sleek N-1 Starfighters and Vulture Droids scream overhead spewing light and fire. Nimble AT-RT Walkers race around corners, pursued by roaring AATs. Agile Clone Jet Troopers hop from rooftop to rooftop, while rampaging B2 Super Battle Droids level everything in their path. Armies of Clones and Droids sprint across cover, their blazing weapons shattering the tranquility of the once-peaceful capital of Naboo. And at the center of the swirling melee the lightsabers and Darth Maul and Rey cut swaths through the ranks of the battling troopers."
"Prepare for the Assault on Theed! On June 10 at 12:30 PM PT [20:00 BST], Darth Maul and other cross-era heroes enter the battlefield in a massive multiplayer livestream gameplay event you won't want to miss. You might even become part of creating it."
This livestream will have two teams, 20 vs 20, fight on Naboo, but if Jar-Jar Binks will show up as well somehow remains to be seen. Is this the best battle they could've chosen to showcase the game?
