He is humanoid, but not human.

Pablo Hidalgo is the name of a Star Wars writer that has been doing his fair share of both comics and novels. He has more insight into the universe than most of us, and just shared a juicy nugget on Twitter regarding the seemingly evil Snoke from the film The Force Awakens.

In the tweet there's an excerpt from the script of the film which details Snoke and declares that while he is humanoid, he's not human. There has been a long range of wild speculations regarding Snoke, with some claiming that he is somehow a re-animated Darth Vader, a vengeful Mace Windu (Samuel L. Jackson's jedi knight), or maybe Rey's father, but all these suggestions should be obsolete now, since they are all humans.

So it's back to the drawing board to come up with new Snoke theories - or just wait until Star Wars: The Last Jedi is released in December. There might, of course, also be hints in some of the Star Wars games expected to be released this year, amongst them Star Wars Battlefront II, where the new trilogy will be represented and therefore might have Snoke as a playable hero character.

What are your own theories?
