There have been Switch shortages already since the console's release a couple of months ago, and although some believe that this will get better, former Famitsu editor Hirokazu Hamamura expressed his thoughts to the contrary on Twitter (as translated by Japanese Nintendo), saying:
"I think the product shortage [of Nintendo Switch] will continue until the end of this year."
