As reported by Dot Esports, Overwatch's game director Jeff Kaplan recently spoke on the PlayOverwatch Twitch channel's Anniversary stream to celebrate the game's first birthday, and confirmed that the team has a lot of content planned for this year.
"Right now we are literally working on content all the way through the end of the year, and that's cool content drops every single month between now and the end of the year," he said, going on to say that this includes more maps in addition to the three arena maps added to Arcade.
"There's also some really cool hero news just on the horizon, so hopefully people will be excited by that," he added, which obviously sent people into a frenzy. Could this be Doomfist? We'll let you decide.
