Take-Two Interactive recently released their latest financial report, and it holds some potential good news for all you Borderlands fans, as the part about 2K has caught the eyes of many on the internet:
"Looking ahead to fiscal 2019, we expect to deliver both record Net Sales and record net cash provided by operating activities, in excess of $2.5 billion [USD] and $700 million, respectively, led by the launches of Rockstar Games' Red Dead Redemption 2 and a highly anticipated new title from one of 2K's biggest franchises."
The past year we've seen several hints about Borderlands 3, so we're guessing the "highly anticipated new titles from one of 2K's biggest franchises" is this sequel. In January Gearbox head Randy Pitchford said that Borderlands 3 on Nintendo Switch was "highly unlikely", even though the game hasn't been officially announced, and he brought some renders from technology to Game Developers Conference earlier this year that looked very much like a Borderlands game.
If not Borderlands 3, what could it be?
Thanks, VG247.
