Back in July, DICE said that they had decided not to include female soldiers in Battlefield 1 because it wouldn't be realistic. Now they've had a change of heart after they realised that's not true.
The Swedish studio has revealed that the upcoming "In The Name of the Tsar" expansion will include a female soldier from the 1st Russian Women's Battalion of Death. They don't want to reveal much more than that for the moment, but they say that she'll represent the Russian army's scout class.
With Battlefield 1 already having a fairly diverse cast, it's nice to see that they've also decided to include female soldiers. Don't you agree?
