Fear Effect, the action-adventure that released on the original PlayStation back in 2000, received a successful Kickstarter for a sequel subtitled Sedna just over a year ago. Developed by Sushee, formerly known for Goetia, they raised €107,285, just surpassing their 100k goal.
Fear Effect Sedna is a direct sequel to the first game, set four years afterwards. The team have largely gone their separate ways, with Hana living with Rain in Hong Kong, working as a mercenary, while Deke has grown apart since Glas returned to the US. Sedna will see a series of events bring the old team back together through various missions.
It's in development for PS4, Xbox One and PC, and you can read more about the game here. You can find the demo to download on Steam here.
