While the popularity of Pokémon Go has died down a bit, the game still has an impressive monthly active player count, and they're all waiting for one thing: Legendary Pokémon.
Niantic Labs has teased their arrival for some time, but now, it finally seems to be happening. Nintendo Everything has reported that Niantic's Architect Bhargava accepted an award for best mobile game at this year's Annual Webby Awards, and during his acceptance speech, he said the following:
"This summer will be legendary."
This suggests that legendary creatures will finally be introduced this summer. We're awaiting further details.
