Today we're getting a first look at Destiny 2 gameplay, courtesy of a live event being streamed from an airplane hangar in Hawthorne, California.

We don't know a huge amount about what will be shown, but hopefully we'll see action involving the Cabal race, the Red Legion, and find out a bit more about the overall setup.

Bungie will be there along with some unannounced special guests, and like many of you, we're eager to find out more about what's in store for us later this year when the game hits PC, PS4 and Xbox One on September 8.

Head this way and tune in at 5pm BST / 6pm CEST to catch the pre-show countdown, before the event kicks off properly at 6pm BST / 7pm CEST.
