We all knew that there would be another Far Cry game sooner or later, and last week we heard that it might be closer than we thought. These rumours spread like wildfire, so much so in fact that Ubisoft decided to comment on it during their earnings report last night.
The French studio confirmed that it'll be called Far Cry 5 and that it'll be released by April of next year, which makes sense, as the rumours claim it's slated for September. They didn't want to comment on any of the other rumours though, but said that we'll get more information very soon. We're guessing this means E3, if not a small tease before that. All we know for now is that the logo will look like this:
