Streaming platform Twitch has announced their event TwitchUnity, which will take place on May 26 and celebrate inclusivity and diversity in a number of ways.
Firstly, Twitch encourages people to talk about what TwitchUnity means to them on May 26, using a show, event, or usual broadcast to celebrate and discuss in whatever way you want. "Tell us stories from your life on Twitch...or just share something from your heart about what it means to be a part of the Twitch community at large," Twitch says.
There's also a TwitchUnity emote, a free graphics package to use on the day, and the option to broadcast to the TwitchUnity community, not to mention a TwitchUnity t-shirt which can be bought here, with all proceeds going towards Amnesty International.
A special Twitch WeeklyTakeover will take place on May 26 as well, followed by a three-hour Just Dance-a-thon from the Twitch office, hosted by LittleSiha. Amnesty International will also be involved here too, and donations can be made.
How are you planning on getting involved?
