As reported by Windows Central, Microsoft has shared statistics about Xbox One owners in the US at a recent developer conference in an attempt to help developers understand who's active on Xbox Live.
The information is based on about 2,000 responses Xbox One owners provided to a survey, revealing that 58% are male, with 42% female, and most come between the ages of 25 and 34, with the closest one after that being 35 to 44. 56% of Xbox One owners also live with a married spouse or partner, with 10% living alone, and 23% living with parents, and a lot of Xbox One owners also have an income of $75,000 USD.
In terms of player behaviour, 53% of all Xbox users fit into the category of "socialising", seeing around 17 hours spent on multiplayer games on average. Almost half are "explorers" as well, meaning they're interested in the Xbox ecosystem and purchase a wide variety of titles.
