Devolver Digital has announced Indie Picnic, a free showcase of indie games during E3 next month, where visitors can see a number of indie game demos from Devolver Digital as well as companies such as Indie Megabooth and Gambitious.
Those who attend will also be treated to food trucks, beverages, an indie arcade, and carnival games. "This is the week the entire industry and fans everywhere celebrate video games as entertainment and art with numerous events now happening across Los Angeles," said Mike Wilson, co-founder of Devolver Digital. "Indie Picnic is our way of giving back to the fans and celebrating a mutual love for games and art."
The Devolver Public Access area of this Indie Picnic will be livestreamed as well, allowing those who can't be there in person to get in on the fun as well. Is this a good way to showcase indies at E3?
