If you're a fan of retro gaming, the recently announced RetroN HD from Hyperkin might be for you, as it's a high definition update to the original RetroN, providing retro gaming in 720p.
The RetroN HD supports both PAL and NTSC cartridges for the NES, and ships with a new controller called the Cadet, which looks a lot like the original NES controller except with a few minor adjustments (the bottom corners are less sharp, for instance).
"This is the best time to be an NES enthusiast," said Hyperkin Product Developer Chris Gallizzi. "With the advent of the NES Classic Edition, Capcom's Disney Afternoon Collection, and just a general resurgence in 8-bit gaming, the RetroN HD is both the perfect time machine and gateway console for playing real NES cartridges in your modern living room."
You can pre-order the Retron HD right now for £49.99 from this website. What's the first NES game you'll play on it?
