If you were a fan of APB, Realtime World's late shooter-MMO, it might be time to be cautiously optimistic. While the game's website is dead, its patcher is still broadcasting news and Ben Bateman, former community manager for the title, has linked to that news on his Twitter. It says that there "might be light at the end of the tunnel for APB. The end of the administration process is apparently close and there appears to be a buyer for the game."
Bateman is working at Codemasters these days, and while he denies that they have anything to do with this supposed deal people are still speculating that the Codies might be looking to pick it up. We'll just have to wait and see.
