A news post on Halo Waypoint about the Halo Championship Series Daytona event, among other things, has revealed that Dan Ayoub is parting ways with 343 Industries.
Ayoub has worked on Halo games since 2009 with Halo: Reach, and has also been involved with Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Spartan Assault, as well as working for EA, Microsoft, and Ubisoft in the past. Most recently, though, he's been working on Halo Wars 2, which the news post says will still be in good hands: "Halo Wars 2 and its forthcoming DLC are in the safe hands of Dan's team, with some wonderful DLC and other surprises still to come."
He's departing 343 in order to work with Microsoft in Mixed Reality, where he'll be exploring what the news post calls "the empowerment of education through technology." What opportunities could Mixed Reality hold for Ayoub?
