Alexander Brandon, the composer of the Deus Ex and Unreal games, has been hired by Retro Studios for an unknown project, as Brandon himself confirmed via Facebook.
"I'm currently working with Retro Studios here in Austin," he said. "As much as I'd like to say more (except the work is incredibly exciting and the team is awesome), I can't."
It's been three years since the release of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and we still don't know what's happening at Retro Studios, a beloved western developer for Nintendo. Expectations are growing, then, and the recruitment of Brandon only adds fuel to the fire. What could they be working on?
