Valve's MOBA Dota 2 is going to be getting a co-op campaign called Siltbreaker this year, and anyone owning the 2017 Battle Pass will be allowed access to the story, which will be released in two parts: one this month, and one in July.

The campaign is detailed on Dota 2's website, but basically this will see players go to the Dark Reef to take on a number of enemies, earning campaign XP as they do so. An exclusive "Desert Sands Baby Roshan" will also be available on the Wheel of Rewards too.

The Battle Pass currently costs $9.99 USD (roughly £7.73) so perhaps this is an incentive by Valve to encourage people to invest. Do you like this new feature for the game?

Thanks, Kotaku.
