PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has been doing extremely well as an early access game on Steam, so many have speculated that the game may well be coming to consoles in the future, which seems to be the case.
Speaking to Business Insider, the game's creative director Brandon Greene said: "We have a team working already on looking to port it to at least the Xbox [One]. We're looking at both consoles of course, but we have no time frame for both."
Unfortunately the team working on the game is very small and has to focus on one thing at a time, meaning that they'll first have to get the game out of early access within the next months, and then start focusing on the console versions. Hopefully that just means that the game will have more maps and be more polished when it finally makes its way to PS4 and Xbox One.
Can the success carry over to consoles?
