Respawn announces Titanfall Assault for mobile platforms

Shortly after the announcement of Titanfall 2 Respawn Games unveiled a card-based strategy game called Titanfall: Frontline, being developed by Vince Zampella's own mobile studio, Particle City, and Nexon, but this was cancelled four months later during the beta tests. Now the duo are back with another strategy title, except this time it's an RTS called Titanfall Assault.

In the game players have to make squads of different titans and pilots to fight in fluid, fast-paced PvP battles, although cards aren't gone for good, since there are tactical Burn Cards to collect that provide support in the battlefield.

Below are the first images of Titanfall Assault, coming to Google Play and the App Store at an unconfirmed date. Pre-registation is open on the official website if you want to experience the action as soon as possible though. Can this Titanfall game be a success on mobile?
