Digital Bros has announced that its subsidiary, 505 Games, has signed an agreement with developer Remedy Entertainment to publish the studio's next game on PC (including Steam), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and that's both the digital and retail versions, as well as also investing €7.75 million euros (that's approx. £6.55 million GBP / $8.47 million USD) in the company.
The new game, codenamed "Project 7" (P7) is a cinematic third-person action game set in a Remedy-created universe and will feature "an intriguing story and a game structure offering a long-lasting experience, P7 contains the deepest game mechanics yet in a Remedy game". Project 7 is built using the Northlight Engine which was also used for Quantum Break.
Remedy CEO Tero Virtala said: "We have a strong vision of what P7 should be. 505 Games brings into this partnership experience and competences that help us successfully make this vision become reality together. Remedy is also investing in P7 and is deeply committed to creating an unique gaming experience that will keep the players engaged and playing for a long time to come.
