Vivendi's Ubisoft share climb doesn't seem to be stopping any time soon, as after acquiring 25% of the company's shares in December 2016, Reuters has reported that Vivendi is about to complete the acquisition of the French publisher.
As reported to Reuters by a source, Vivendi has been using the last few months to plan a strategy to acquire 100% of Ubisoft by the end of 2017. Vivendi's President, Vincent Bolloré, believes the Ubisoft acquisition would make Vivendi the most important European media giant, an operation that would calm down investors who feel that it's too weak in marketing and the video games market.
