Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is almost upon us, allowing you to play races with your friends either via the TV or by using the undocked version of the console, but Polygon has reported a restriction when using Wireless Play mode, specifically with regards to connecting additional Switch controllers.
Basically, when playing split-screen, there are options to use either one Joy-Con controller, or the Pro Controller, but the option to use a pair of Joy-Con controllers is greyed out, and there's no clear explanation as to why players are being forced to play with just one Joy-Con in these circumstances.
No doubt these are small issues, but it might affect some people looking to enjoy local multiplayer sessions with multiple Joy-Con configurations.
