As reported by DigiTimes, Intel is to unveil its Basin Falls platform, including Skylake-X and Kaby Lake-X processors, and X299 chipset, in Taipei between May 30 and June 2, which is two months ahead of the original schedule.
What this report also means is that the Coffee Lake architecture will be pushed forward from January next year to August this year, and they'll initially release a number of K-series core i7, i5, and i3 processors, as well as Z370 chipsets, releasing more CPUs and chipsets as the year goes on.
