If you sometimes struggle to find a League of Legends streamer to suit your tastes, Twitch has just announced a feature that might help you narrow down your choice, as they're now allowing you to filter streams by not only rank, but by Champion too.
"Next time you check out the League of Legends directory, you'll notice two new tools at the top of the page. One lets you filter streams by a player's rank, and the other lets you filter streams by the Champion being played. If you can't see it quite yet, that's okay. It may take just a bit longer to show up for everyone," the announcement explains.
For example, if you look for Challenger rank streams, then, you'll find better ranked streamers than those just starting out, and these filters have been introduced by working alongside Riot Games, who has just launched Rakan and Xayah into the game. "This is the first time any platform has leveraged metadata from League of Legends in this way, and we're stoked to be a part of it," Twitch adds.
If you want to be a part of this process as a streamer, you have to link your League of Legends account to your Twitch account.
Will this dramatically alter the way you watch streams?
