PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has been pretty popular, selling one million copies, and now the game is receiving the first of its monthly updates, as detailed on the Steam forums.

The update will be rolled out at 09:00 BST / 10:00 CEST tomorrow and take about an hour to implement. As well as affecting things like performance and bugs, there's also new content as well, including a Vector SMG, a motorcycle with sidecar, a 2X aimpoint scope, a ballistic mask, three colour variations for the Dacia, and reintroducing the crossbow back into the game,

"I need to address a slight price change for the game in New Zealand," the post also explains. "We've been seeing some abnormal patterns in our New Zealand sales. It turns out that due to the comparatively low price in New Zealand (roughly $25 [USD]) and the fact that gifting from New Zealand to other countries is not restricted the same as it is for other countries like China, Russia and Brazil, people seem to be exploiting the system. We have slightly raised the price to $28 [USD] to combat this."

For the full patch notes for the update head this way. Do you think PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has a bright future ahead of it with these updates?
