The PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro have just received a surprise update to version 4.55, an update that intends to improve "system software stability during use of some features," and although no other details were shared regarding the update, it seems the previous update might have caused some unforeseen stability issues.
As you might recall, the previous 4.50 update introduced several new features, including the option to install or access content directly from USB storage devices (previously you could only transfer content) as well as allowing the support of 3D Blu-Rays on PSVR.
