According to Superdata, Nintendo is selling a lot of their Switch consoles right now, as the sales have already passed 2.4 million units, and is the fastest selling Nintendo console ever in America as well.
In total, 906,000 Switch units have been sold in America in just over a month, and on top of this, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has sold 1.3 million in the US, with 925,000 of them being for the Switch. That means Zelda isn't just selling 1:1, but actually even more than the console. A reasonable guess at an explanation for this is that people are buying it to have it when they get their Switch unit and collectors are getting doubles.
The Switch may be the fastest selling Nintendo console in the US, but is it the best console?
