During the Easter weekend we shared the announcement trailer for the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront II, which seemed to be universally praised, but one of the things that wasn't revealed in the trailer is that the game does in fact include a co-op mode with split-screen support.
This will of course be a major draw for many gamers, but unfortunately not everyone will be able to enjoy this, as it's only being released for the console versions of the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. That means no split-screen action for PC gamers.
Here's what the Xbox website said about the split-screen: "Exclusive to the console version of Star Wars Battlefront II will be two-player offline split-screen co-op. Get ready to team up with your friends from the comfort of your couch as the two of you battle across the Star Wars universe. In this mode, you'll be able to earn customisation rewards and bring those upgrades with you to the online multiplayer battleground."
Is this important for you?
