Nintendo hosted their Nintendo Direct showcase last night, taking the opportunity to announce the first new Joy-Con colour for the Switch, and as you can see, they stay true to the neon colours, but this time it's bright yellow. A matching strap will also be released, and these will arrive together with the upcoming Arms which launches on June 16.

A battery pack for the Joy-Con controllers will also be released on the very same day, adding increased battery life (which already lasts a good 20 hours for Switch) as well as a better grip.

No pricing was announced, but the Japanese site prices the battery packs at 3,280 yen, which is roughly £23.98. What other colours do you want to see the Switch Joy-Cons come in?
