A couple of weeks ago we reported on a rumour which indicated that Activision's blockbuster series Call of Duty is returning to its World World II roots. Now a YouTuber, ASB Gaming London, has posted a video of what looks like a marketing poster for Call of Duty: WWII, showing a release date of Friday November 3, which is the usual time of year for a Call of Duty release.
The video and picture were shared on Reddit, where users also compared it with previously leaked images. Currently, Activision hasn't confirmed or denied anything about this new title, but co-founder of Sledgehammer Games (who is set to create this year's Call of Duty), Michael Condrey, has previously expressed an interest in returning to the World War II setting.
As this is still a rumour, it should be taken with a healthy pinch of salt, even if it sounds plausible. Is it something you'd like to see happen though?
