This is the same as games like Nier: Automata.

According to DSOGaming, the new patch for Mass Effect: Andromeda, which improves various aspects of the game, uses a new version of Denuvo anti-tampering technology, a different version than the one that was cracked in 13 days.

The evidence for this is allegedly that the game's executable file contains strings only found in other games powered by the newest Denuvo tech, including big releases like Nier: Automata, and wasn't in Andromeda when it was initially released. This version hasn't been cracked yet, but whether it can be remains to be seen.

Is this a welcome change for you?
