Many games over the years have tried replicating that special Battle Royale style, and the most recent attempt is PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, a community designed shooter, where it's the last man standing that emerges as the victor on a large 8x8 kilometer map.
It's about stealth, gathering ressources and getting the drop on other players, and the community seems to have taken a liking to the game, which recently hit Early Access on Steam.
