We all know the pain - you're getting really into a game, eager to get into some action, and a long loading screen disrupts your flow. With the Scorpio, however (the specs of which we reported on today), these should be significantly reduced on existing titles, meaning less extended waits.
Loading times are determined by the CPU of a console, Digital Foundry explained, but with Scorpio's extra 31% CPU, this will improve dramatically and let assets be decompressed even faster. Hard-drive bandwidth is 50% wider than the Xbox One too, meaning quicker load times for 4K stuff as well.
