Nicalis' leader Tyrone Rodriguez teased it before Nintendo Switch came to the market, but now it's official - Cave Story is returning to another platform. This time, though, it has evolved into Cave Story+, as it was released in Steam in 2011.
There are a few additions in this version, first and foremost being renewed HD graphics and remastered music, but the original ones are also featured, so you can mix them at your will. The "plus" version also includes six games modes, including Wind Fortress and Boss Rush.
Nicalis will release Cave Story+ for Nintendo Switch on June 20 in North America for $29.99 (£24.10), both digitally and in retail. It'll probably make it to Europe too, but the studio always bring its games here later.
