It's not planned though.

During a preview event for The Banner Saga 3 in London, we talked to producer Zeb West and technical director John Watson about the game, and when we asked them about whether a potential Switch version for the game is planned, they didn't say it was planned, but they didn't say it wasn't coming either.

"Not planned, but certainly open to it. I think it would work well there," Watson responded. "We've done a little bit of investigation. It's hard for us to manage our time in such a way that we can do everything we want to do. There's only seven of us, and we all have our hands full all the time, so to bring it to another platform... it's serious business."

"Once you start going to these different platforms, different versions of games are out of sync, like 'okay we released these two languages, now that's got to go all the way through the pipeline of the Android version, the GOG version, the iOS version.' So yeah, taking on another platform is something we don't take lightly, but we would love to like... you know we've been really committed to try and get the game out far and wide," West added

"We've always taken the philosophy that if you make a game, you put all the effort into making the game, then you should spend the relatively lesser effort making it available to as many platforms and languages as possible," Watson continued. "So we're definitely in the camp of putting it as far and wide as possible."

The Banner Saga 3 is due out next year, but do you think it would suit the Switch?
