DC's upcoming slate of films is confusing to say the least, with more than 20 projects currently being worked on in some form. One of the more positive-sounding of these is a film focusing on Batgirl, and if a new rumour is to be believed, some major talent is involved in the project.
Apparently several outlets have been able to confirm a report first brought to us by Variety, which claims that Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron director Joss Whedon is about to sign a deal with Warner Bros. to write, direct, and produce the Batgirl film.
The project is a part of the DC cinematic universe, and will therefore tie into other major story arcs, and include famous characters. Are you happy with Warner Bros.' choice, if it turns out to be true?
