The sports RPG series Inazuma Eleven is returning with Inazuma Eleven: The Scales of Ares, and last summer Level-5 president Akihiro Hino announced a cross-media project with a new anime TV series and a video game, but no platforms where mentioned for the latter.
During a recent livestream, Hino confirmed that Ares is coming to Nintendo 3DS and teased another platform too, saying that the new game "will also release on something other than 3DS. It may also release on what you would call a higher quality game machine... perhaps" (translated by Gematsu).
People are now wondering if this will be the first Level-5 game for the Nintendo Switch, since the company is making big money with Nintendo's portable systems, but we can never rule out other options like the PS4.
