If water pokémon are your favourite, then you'll be pleased to know that Pokémon Go is getting a water festival, as announced via the game's website.
The Water Festival means that, as of yesterday, Magikarp, Squirtle, and Totodile (as well as all their evolutions) are more likely to be encountered in the game up until March 29 at 13:00 PDT (20:00 GMT). That's not all, though, as when you're exploring areas where water pokémon usually appear, you're now more likely to discover several water pokémon originally in the Johto region, and maybe even a Lapras.
Also, there's now a Magikarp hat for your trainer avatar, which some might say is the best feature. Are the water pokémon best?
