Were the Mass Effect: Andromeda graphics downgraded?

Some leaked images may suggest so.

There's been a lot of talk about the graphics in Mass Effect: Andromeda, especially facial details and animations, but also the somewhat lacking lighting and overall glitches. For some reason, it seems like the game might have been better looking at one point, as we can see via alleged leaked images.

Thisgengaming has posted four comparisons between the leaked version and the one officially released on Thursday, and it seems like they might have a case.
