The Evil Within launched back in 2014 to a largely positive critical reception. More importantly for the future of this burgeoning franchise, Bethesda has said that it sold enough to warrant a sequel. While any potential follow up hasn't been officially revealed, a job listing shared over on Neogaf points to its existence and potentially an imminent announcement.
The listing is for Psycho Break 2 (that's the game's Japanese title, which we have to say, we like just as much if not more than its western name), and if legitimate it's for a role translating and Q&A bug reporting. The position is open from April 10 through to October 31, which could mean nothing, or it could point to an end of year release. Might we get a first look at the game at E3 in June? We've got our fingers crossed, even if we're taking this with a pinch of salt for now.
