Mass Effect: Andromeda is Bioware's upcoming RPG, and the developer has announced via Facebook that "due to an issue with Apex ratings, we have temporarily disabled Mass Effect: Andromeda's multiplayer leaderboards."

A bit more detail is given on EA's website, where it's explained that the issue comes from how Apex ratings are calculated, hence leaderboards are being disabled. You'll still be able to see your rating during this time, however, but not the ratings of others.

"We are working to address how Apex ratings are calculated, and the leaderboards will be brought back online once our changes have been made," the post explains. "Following our changes, your Apex rating may decrease, and in some cases, it may be reduced significantly. However, you will still have access to all rewards you have earned."

Are leaderboard ratings a high priority for you in Mass Effect: Andromeda?
