Bandai Namco has announced that Tekken 7 will feature two exclusive guest fighters from other franchises, along with other additional content, to be released after the launch on June 2.

The first batch of additional content will be released in "summer 2017," and will give a new game mode and over 50 new costumes. The second batch will then come in winter, and the third will arrive in spring 2018, and each of these will feature one of these fighters from other franchises each. These characters will then receive a special stage and costumes in time.

Each of these three batches of additional content can be purchased individually, and will also be available via the season pass, which will also allow each player 35 exclusive metallic costumes. As if all this wasn't enough, across the year players on all platforms will also receive free character panels they can use to customise their fighter's image displayed on the loading screen, with more info promised soon.
