The people from Sony's Music division have a very special VR experience in the works, and the most surprising thing is the fact they aren't using the company's own VR headset to realise their plans, but the HTC Vive instead.
As explained by Shigeki Tanaka, Senior Vice President at Sony Music, Sony Music Entertainment is working on a 'location based' VR experience with four people playing together simultaneously in the same physical room, and to prevent the players from falling over cables, everyone is carrying their own PC on the back. The game is called Gold Rush VR, and you can watch a video of that attraction here. Just imagine experiencing this kind of technology with prettier environments and with your friends - wouldn't this be awesome?
