Blizzard has announced the dates for this year's BlizzCon, and the convention will return to California's Anaheim Convention Center from November 3 to 4, marking the 11th year for BlizzCon.

The developer promises more of the same for this year's BlizzCon, including esports competitions, developer panels, and hands-on gaming. We also presume there'll be more announcements as well, as there always is.

In terms of tickets they'll go on sale in two batches. The first will be on Wednesday, April 5 at 7:00 PM PDT (2:00 AM GMT on April 6), and then another on Saturday, April 8, at 10:00 AM PDT (17:00 PM GMT). These ticket sales will be hosted by Universe, and will cost $199 USD each (roughly £162.90), plus taxes and fees. More information on tickets can be found here, and more on badges can be found here.

Blizzard also gave more details about the BlizzCon Benefit Dinner: "If you're looking for a chance to join the celebration and help out a good cause at the same time, we're holding a special BlizzCon Benefit Dinner the night before the show on Thursday, November 2 in support of Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). Attendees will have a chance to talk games, swap stories, and share a drink or two with Blizzard developers and community representatives, and Blizzard will donate the net proceeds to the hospital. A limited number of tickets go on sale Wednesday, April 12 at 7:00 p.m. PDT, priced at $750 each—visit the Charity Ticket page for more information."

As with last year, there will also be virtual tickets on sale for those who can't be there in person, providing streaming coverage from the event, and more details will be coming out about these soon.

Is this one of the biggest events in the gaming calendar?
