Does interactive storytelling mean anything to you? Of course it does, it's what we do all the time in video games, but what if you could also change the course of a live action series? That's the new concept Netflix is working on - a technology that would allow viewers of the streaming service to choose how key plot points would evolve on their own series.
That would mean actors and writers would have to work on several alternative versions of series, not unlike FMV games, allowing them to accommodate different outcomes. A source told The Daily Mail that this is still "an experiment", meaning it might never come to fruition.
Would you like to control the flow a TV series, or do you prefer to leave that level of interactivity to video games?
