We reported yesterday about some of the things that have been detailed in the patch notes for the latest Battlefield 1 update, releasing alongside the They Shall Not Pass expansion, but it appears that there's some things changed that aren't mentioned in the patch notes, as brought to our attention via YouTuber Westie (via VG247).
In Westie's video, we can see that there's a new feature called Scrap Exchange, allowing you to exchange some of, you guessed it, Scrap, in return for some skins for weapons and vehicles. What this means is that you don't have to rely on getting a skin through Battlepacks any more, as you can buy specific ones with your Scrap now. This Exchange menu will now be under Battlepacks.
The map Giant's Shadow also faces some changes too, as the fog in open spaces has been reduced, so if you like picking players off at a distance, it should be slightly easier to do so now. Another new feature is that those who aren't Premium players can spectate matches from the new DLC, giving you a chance to see what it's like before buying.
Four new dog tags have also been released, without unlock requirements, only requiring you to play with maps, modes etc. to receive them. Which is the most welcome addition for you?
