Despite mediocre reviews, it seems Super Bomberman R, which recently released exclusively on Nintendo Switch, has had quite the opening.
According to new numbers released by Media Create, which tracks the sales numbers of Japanese titles, the game has actually had the best opening for the series in 20 years. The numbers have been compiled over on NeoGAF, and they show that Super Bomberman R managed to shift 39,609 copies during its first week on sale. This is only beaten by Bomberman World, which managed to sell 76,000 copies during its first week back in 1998.
