With less than ten days to go before its official release, Bioware's title Mass Effect: Andromeda keeps on surprising and fascinating, and it's looking very promising, as shown in our enthusiastic hands-on session. One of the things we praised in particular was its unprecedented freedom of action, in which all the elements could have an influence.

Lead designer Mac Walters revealed during PAX East in Boston this last weekend that the studio has created no less than 1,200 unique characters (with unique faces and looks) to add to the feeling of immersion within the Andromeda galaxy, and this is nearly twice as much as in the previous game, which offered 670 different faces.

Bioware's action-adventure RPG is expected on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox on March 21. Are you impressed with the number of unique characters offered by Mass Effect: Andromeda, or are you worried this could be too much to cope with?
